We will be looking for hummingbirds and assorted forest birds including woodpeckers. And we can look for what’s blooming.
Bring binoculars if you have them, and water, clothes for changing weather, and a snack or lunch if you like. It will take a couple hours to hike the whole trail.
It’s about a 35 miles/40 minutes drive to Vedauwoo. If you don’t have an annual Federal pass, the entrance fee is $5/day/vehicle.
